BUYING A LIFEJACKET
The main difference between a lifejacket and a life jacket is that a life jacket's collar ensures that you lie on your back in the water. A life jacket comes in an automatic life jacket or nylon life jacket, also known as the orange life jacket. The automatic life jacket inflates itself when the cartridge fills with water. An automatic life jacket should be stored properly. In a damp room, the cartridge may fill up and may even inflate. For most lifejackets, however, cartridges are available separately so that the lifejacket can be used again. Useful on a sailing boat, for example, but not useful in a place where you come into frequent contact with water. We definitely recommend a life jacket for children who do not yet have a swimming certificate.
