Waterski

Water skiing is perhaps one of the best known behind-the-boat sports. Skiing behind the boat can be done with two skis, this is called Combo Skiing and on one ski is Mono Skiing/Slalom Skiing. Waterskiing

Waterskiing is a popular water sport in the Netherlands. We know two different variations of water skiing. Combo skiing is making speed behind the boat with two skis. Combo skiing is recreationally the most common variation on water skiing. Mono skiing or also known as Slalom Skiing is doing a slalom course on one water ski. The Dutch Water Ski & Wakeboard Association (NWWB) also organizes competitions for this. Waterskiing is mostly done behind the boat, but can also be done on a cableway.

Waterski vest

A waterski vest in every price range for ladies, men and kids. The main difference between life jackets is mainly in the material in the fit. The different materials for vests are nylon and neoprene. A Neoprene vest is comfortable and softer on the skin, but also more flexible for more freedom of movement. Within the Nylon lifejacket, there are distinctions in size, adjustment options and foam. Frequently sold water ski vests are the competition life jackets. These have no inspection but do have protection panels. Also very popular is the Unify life jacket. This water ski vest is the first competition vest with CE approval.

JOBE Water Ski

A JOBE Waterski is one of the most popular water ski brands in the Netherlands. JOBE has several combo skis in their assortment. The best and most versatile ski is the Mode. This ski is 67' and 167 cm and equipped with a comfortable binding that gives good support. The Allegre is an entry-level model with basic binding. The Hemi 59' model is similar to the Allegre, however, this ski is shorter and wider, making it suitable for heavier people. For kids the Hemi trainers are very suitable.
