What is included in a wakeboard set?
A JOBE wakeboard set includes the board with pre-mounted bindings, expertly bolted with the correct angle stance. A wakeboard rope and handle are not included and are bought separately in our wakeboard rope collection. An impact vest, helmet and bag are also separate accessories.
Why is a wakeboard set cheaper than individual parts?
A wakeboard set costs 10-20% less through package deals between JOBE and the retailer. The quality is identical to individual versions; there is no set version with inferior construction. For those unsure if wakeboarding suits them, a set is a lower financial barrier to try the sport.
Which binding type suits beginners: open-toe or closed-toe?
For beginners, open-toe bindings (JOBE Maze and Unit) are the logical choice in a set. Open-toe fits multiple shoe sizes within one binding size (S/M fits 39-42). Practical when sharing the board with family or friends. Closed-toe bindings (Nitro, Charge) are for advanced riders with their own board who need maximum control.
Can I replace the bindings in my set later?
Yes. The board in every JOBE wakeboard set has a universal 4x4 or 6x4 insert pattern that fits all JOBE wakeboard bindings. Buy new bindings separately and mount yourself with a 4 mm hex key. Within JOBE everything is universally interchangeable.
