A JOBE Wakeboard comes in different shapes and sizes. JOBE has a suitable wakeboard for every water sport enthusiast. Especially for children, JOBE has the Jinx wakeboard. For adults there is a wide choice, from beginners to advanced. A JOBE wakeboard with a foam core is lightweight and absorbs the first blow of landing. This is used in, for example, the JOBE Maddox wakeboard. A hybrid core consists of foam and wood making the board light yet strong and flexible, an ideal combination used in, for example, the JOBE Breach wakeboard!
BUY WAKEBOARD
Want to buy a wakeboard? When buying a wakeboard, it is especially important that your board is the right length. In addition, it is important to determine whether the board will be used on the cableway or behind the boat. Not all boards are suitable for the obstacles of a cableway. For that, flexibility and firmness are desired to have control on the obstacles. For a wakeboard behind the boat, on the other hand, more speed is desired. Some all-round wakeboards are suitable for both the water park and behind the boat. For example, the JOBE Wakeboard Conflict is a board with a rock-solid core and a flexible tip and tail.
JOBE Wakeboard Line
If you want to wakeboard behind a boat, you obviously need a rope. We have several wakeboard lines in stock from JOBE. The lines are strong and stand out well in the water, the length of the ropes are 19.8 meters. The lines come in blue and in red.
JOBE Wakeboard Bindings
Bindings are an important part of wakeboarding, bindings determine how much control you have over your board in the water. You have two different types of bindings, open toe and closed toe. An open toe has the advantage that the binding fits multiple shoe sizes, this has an advantage if you are not just using the board. The disadvantage of an open toe binding is that you have less control on the water. The best open toe bindings from JOBE are the Maze bindings, Republik bindings and the host bindings. Do you have your own board and want to have optimal control on the water? Then a closed toe binding is the ideal option. The best closed toe bindings from JOBE are the Nitro Bindings and the Charge bindings.
WAKEBOARD LENGTH
What length do you need? Determining the right length is very important, because you can't ride comfortably on a board that is too small or too big. Based on the body weight of the boarder, you can best estimate the right length of the wakeboard. From 40 to 70kg, a 130-134cm board is suitable. From 60 to 80kg a board of 135 - 140cm fits best. From 80kg you need a board of 139 - 144cm. From 90kg you can choose a board of 144cm or larger depending on your level.
WAKEBOARD ROCKER
Which wakeboard do you need? Wakeboards come in different shapes, this is also called the Rocker. This shape mainly determines the sailing characteristics of the board. It is good to know this in advance so you can make the right choice for a board. A Continous Rocker is ideal for beginners. It has a rounded shape that provides great speed and easy maneuverability. A Three Stage Rocker is more angular which allows the wakeboard to reach more height when jumping a wave. The middle section is flat, which provides a firm landing. This allows you to achieve less high speed. The Hybrid Rocker is an all-around board, a combination of the Continous and the Three Stage Rocker. This combines speed and height of jumps!
