The EvoNautic Base for SUP Fins is the solid foundation on which your entire fin setup rests. This ‘base only’ is designed to mount a SUP fin securely, straight and stable beneath your board, whether you’re replacing a damaged original base or want to create an additional mounting point. The low, elongated shape fits neatly against the bottom of your SUP and ensures the fin runs in line with the board. The slot in the centre is designed for the well-known slide system: you slide the fin into the rail, secure it with a bolt/clip, and you’re ready to go. Ideal if you use EvoNautic SUP fins or have a board where the original base is missing or needs replacing.

The EvoNautic Base for SUP Fins is made from strong, dimensionally stable plastic that effectively absorbs the forces of paddle strokes, shallow water and minor impacts. The wide base provides a large bonding surface, ensuring the base adheres firmly to the board and does not shift or twist whilst paddling. The rounded edges prevent you from catching on the base when getting on or off the board or pulling it over the side. Mount the base in the ideal position for your paddling style – further back for stability, slightly forward for manoeuvrability – and combine it with your preferred fin size. This way, with a single compact component, you can fully restore the control, stability and reliability of your SUP.
