Aztron foil mast Rocket: which size?
| Mast | Level | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Rocket Combo 1450H | Advanced / pro | High-performance, smaller surface for wind |
| Rocket Combo 1800 | Allround | Standard wing foil mast for average wind |
| Rocket Combo 1800H | Advanced / race | High-performance variant of 1800 |
| Rocket Combo 2000 | Beginner / light wind | Large surface for early lift in light wind |
| Foil Mast Rocket Aluminium | Loose mast | Replacement or upgrade for existing foil setup |
The number refers to the front wing surface in square centimetres. A 2000 wing gives more lift in lighter wind and weight, but loses top speed. A 1450 wing needs more wind and technique but goes faster. For wing beginners the Rocket Combo 1800 or 2000 is the logical start. Check the broader wingsurf range.
Inflatable SUP boards Premium Pro
The Aztron Premium Pro line has five models with different lengths and target groups: Mercury 10'10 for allround recreation, Terra 10'6 for stability, Urono 11'6 for touring, Titan 11'11 for heavier riders and Neptune 12'6 for long tours and family use. Alongside are the entry models Nova 10'0, Super Nova 11'0 and Polaris 11'2 for recreational use, and the Meteor Race 14'0 for race pace. The Soleil versions in 11'0 and 12'0 have a mast foot for windsurfing. Check the broader SUP board collection for comparison with other brands.
SUP paddles and accessories
Aztron offers four carbon levels in SUP paddles: Sonic 100% Carbon (lightweight race), Power 70% Carbon (touring allround), Next 30% Carbon (intermediate recreational) and Mach 15% Carbon (budget entry). The Stream is a 3-piece fibreglass variant. The Sonic Carbon is also available as a 1-piece race paddle. Additional accessories are the electric 12V SUP pump, hand pumps Double and Triple Action, SUP leash Coil 10FT, paddle bag and board bag composite 14'0. Helmets (H7 and HS9 for wakesurfing and wing), sunglasses, waterproof bags 5 to 22 litres and a 38L cooler bag complete the range. Check the SUP paddle collection for cross-brand choice.
Frequently asked questions about Aztron
Which Aztron Premium Pro SUP suits me?
The choice depends on your body weight, experience and sailing goal. For riders 65 to 80 kg the Mercury 10'10 or Terra 10'6 is a good start for recreation and short tours. From 80 to 95 kg the Titan 11'11 or Urono 11'6 gives more stability and load capacity. For long tours with partner or luggage the Neptune 12'6 has extra space. For race pace or training, choose the Meteor Race 14'0 with narrower outline and faster glide. Aztron Premium Pro boards are double-layer dropstitch and pump up to 18 PSI, stronger than entry models at 15 PSI.
What is the difference between Aztron wing Aim and Radius?
The Aim is the allround entry wing with direct handling and stable wind range for wing foilers just starting. The Radius is the race and performance wing with stronger lift, faster pump response and suited for freestyle or high-speed touring. For wing beginners the Aim 5.0 or 5.5 m² combined with a Falcon Air board and Rocket 1800 or 2000 foil mast is the standard set. Riders moving to intermediate level swap the wing to Radius for more performance, without replacing the whole setup.
Which pump for my Aztron SUP?
For recreational use the Aztron Hand Pump Double Action is enough, pumping with alternating push-and-pull up to 15 PSI. The Triple Action pump is faster and keeps pressing on the outward stroke, suitable for Premium Pro boards going to 18 PSI. For those who don't want to waste hand strength or pump up multiple boards per session, the Electric 12V SUP pump is the right choice. Combine with the Y-shape or standard pump adapter if you use different valves.
Do I need a wing helmet?
A wing helmet is not required but strongly recommended for intermediate wing foil sessions, especially during jumps, manoeuvres or in chop. The Aztron H7 is a light hardshell helmet with good ventilation, the HS9 is a thicker version for wakesurfing and heavy impacts. For entry-level wing on inland water at beginner level a helmet is not critical, but once you start with pumping, jibe attempts or in open water above 3 Bft, a helmet is a sensible safety investment that also protects against your own board on falls.
