Aluminium floor or inflatable keel strip?
An inflatable keel strip is lighter and quicker to set up. Aluminium is fully rigid, better for standing, fishing or placing luggage. It distributes load better and makes the boat more efficient at higher speeds. For use with an outboard or as a yacht tender, the aluminium floor is usually the better choice.

How do I fit an aluminium floor panel?
Inflate the boat to about 80% first so it has shape but the floor is still flexible. Lay the panels in order starting from the centre. Connect via the supplied clamps or slide connections. Then inflate fully. Common mistake: inflating fully first, then the tubes are too tight to slide the panels in.
Can I use this boat at sea?
Suitable for sheltered coastal water, lakes and rivers. For open sea with higher waves, RIB boats with a rigid hull are the right choice. Always wear a life jacket on open or busy waterways.
Which outboard engine suits an aluminium-floor inflatable?
