The Hidea HDF8 short-shaft is a powerful and smooth-running 8 hp 4-stroke twin-cylinder outboard motor. The engine delivers 5.9 kW of power and operates within an optimal rev range of 4500–5500 rpm, whilst remaining remarkably quiet and vibration-free. The through-the-prop exhaust and efficient fuel consumption ensure comfortable and economical boating.
The HDF8 short-shaft is equipped with a manual start, CDI ignition and a forward-neutral-reverse gearshift for easy operation. Thanks to the adjustable steering friction, shallow-water operation and thermostatically controlled cooling, the engine is user-friendly and reliable. The supplied 12-litre fuel tank is fitted with a fuel gauge.
