The Hidea HDF20 Longtail Electric Start is a powerful yet compact 4-stroke outboard motor that delivers outstanding performance in a portable package. The advanced cross-flow induction and tuned intake system ensure the engine responds instantly to the throttle, whilst vibrations and engine noise are significantly reduced. This makes the HDF20 ideal for large inflatable boats/RIBs, sloops, aluminium fishing boats and console boats with a higher transom.
The engine can be started manually or electrically. The digital CDI ignition ensures easy starting and a quick throttle response. With forward-neutral-reverse gear, adjustable steering friction and a shallow-water setting, manoeuvring is easy and controlled. The through-the-propeller exhaust ensures quieter operation, whilst the thermostatically controlled cooling system keeps the engine at a constant temperature. The engine is supplied with a 12-litre fuel tank.
