Description
Epifanes Mahogany Stain is a fast-drying, impregnating wood stain specially developed for staining faded or yellowed (mahogany) wood, prior to the application of a varnish system. It gives the wood a warm, deep red mahogany color. The stain is overpaintable with both Epifanes one-component varnishes, such as Epifanes Blanke lak and Epifanes Hardwood Oil Varnish, and with Epifanes two-component Poly-urethane High Gloss Clear. Epifanes Mahogany Stain can also be added up to a maximum of 10% to a (one- or two-component) varnish to create a mahogany-colored varnish.
Application
Color-setting stain for both new and existing woodwork, inside and outside above the waterline.
Brush application
Do not dilute.
Paintable
After 2 hours at 18°C.
Paintable with
All Epifanes one- and two-component varnishes.
