In what order should I use Sjippie products for a complete boat service?
Start with a thorough cleaning of the hull using the underwater hull cleaner or boat soap and water. Wash down the outer hull and rinse thoroughly. On a dry hull, apply Polishing Paste Step 2 with an applicator, work in small sections and buff out until the dull haze disappears. Then protect with Wax & Shine or the quick-shine spray to preserve the polished layer. For inflatable boat sections, use the Inflatable Boat Cleaner Spray separately, then the UV Wax to slow down PVC ageing.
What is the difference between Sjippie Natural Teak Cleaner and Natural Teak Restorer?
The Natural Teak Cleaner removes dirt, salt, green growth and surface discolouration from regularly maintained teak. The Natural Teak Restorer is designed for neglected or heavily greyed teak: it works deeper into the wood to bring back the original warm colour. Use the cleaner every season as a routine product and the restorer when normal cleaning no longer removes the grey haze. After the restorer, rinse thoroughly and leave the teak to dry for 24 hours before applying oil or sealant.
