Epifanes Anti-skid paint is a high-quality, abrasion-resistant opaque paint developed for optimum safety on deck. Thanks to its advanced composition based on urethane/alkyd resin and carefully dosed polypropylene powder, this paint offers excellent anti-slip properties without sacrificing aesthetics. The paint effectively prevents slipping on wet or slippery surfaces and withstands intensive use in marine environments.
Applications:
Suitable for application on wood, steel, aluminum and polyester within already applied one-component paint systems. Epifanes Antislip Paint also adheres easily to virtually any existing antislip system, regardless of brand.
Processing & Advice:

For optimum distribution of the anti-slip grain, a short-haired coat roller (such as a velour roller) is recommended.

Stir the paint carefully before and during use to keep the anti-slip particles even.

Always apply over at least two coats of topcoat to prevent moisture penetration to the underlying primer coats.

After application, the paint should cure for at least 72 hours before loading.

Repaintable after approximately 24 hours at 18°C.

Brush application: use Epifanes paint thinner.

Spray application is not recommended.

Approximately 6 m² per liter at a dry film thickness of 40 microns.
