This is a Tohatsu 20 hp long-tail outboard motor. The long-tail version is suitable for boats with a higher transom, such as console boats, sailboats or sloops. For boats with a low transom, such as dinghies, a short-tail model is recommended.
The Tohatsu 20 hp is a powerful and reliable outboard designed for both recreational and professional use. Weighing approximately 43 kg, this engine is still relatively light within its class. The engine features efficient 4-stroke technology that ensures quiet operation and low fuel consumption.
Thanks to the electronic CDI ignition, the engine starts smoothly and reliably, even in colder conditions. The model is available with both hand start and electric start, and with remote or stick control.
The engine is equipped with a deadman's cord for added safety and has a start protection feature that allows it to be started only in neutral. The Tohatsu 20 hp long-tail offers an excellent balance of power, ease of use and durability.
