The Severne Windsurf Mast Blue RDM is Severne's entry-level RDM mast with 40% carbon, designed for windsurfers looking for a reliable, affordable mast for freeride, freewave and wave sails. The RDM tube provides extra stiffness and durability compared to an SDM at the same carbon percentage, making it suitable for active use in chop and light surf. The carbon content reduces weight compared to full fibreglass and gives a pleasantly springy feel in gusts, making sailing more comfortable and less tiring on long sessions.
The Blue RDM is compatible with all Severne RDM sails and works excellently in combination with the Blade, S-1 and Gator sails. The IMCS values are precisely tuned to the corresponding sizes for an optimal profile. The finish is corrosion-resistant and holds up to regular use in salt and brackish water. Fitting is quick and easy: the tight connection with an RDM extension gives little play and keeps the sail stable. A sensible first RDM mast for beginners and recreational windsurfers looking to invest in quality without immediately choosing the most expensive segment.
