The Severne Wave Grenade Carbon RDM Mast Extension is a compact, lightweight carbon fibre extension, specially developed for use with RDM masts on wave and freewave sails. Its sleek, compact design makes it ideal for wave riding: less overhang during water starts and a reduced risk of damage on contact with the board or the waves. The RDM-specific fit locks tightly onto the mast connection and minimises flex, ensuring your sail’s profile remains stable under intense downhaul and uphaul loads in active wave conditions.
The saltwater-resistant finish and sturdy locking ring hold the set length in place, even with repeated attachment and removal on the beach or in the water. The adjustable range covers the most common luff lengths for wave sails from 3.0 to 6.0 square metres, allowing you to use a single Wave Grenade for multiple sizes. Fitting to the mast is quick, even with wet hands or when wearing gloves. A robust and well-designed accessory for windsurfers who ride actively in the surf and need a reliable, lightweight and compact extension.
