Helly Hansen Sailing Jacket Ladies HP Storm Racing Mint Green

The Helly Hansen Women's HP Storm Racing Sailing Jacket is a lightweight and flexible sailing jacket that offers optimal freedom of movement, ideal for active sailing. Made of stretch material, the jacket provides a perfect fit and comfort on deck. The drawcord at the waist and bottom offers excellent fit and water protection, while the high collar with fleece and hood in signal color provides both visibility and wind protection.

The jacket has a warming lining combined with mesh for added comfort and breathability. Contoured arms improve freedom of movement, while adjustable cuffs ensure an optimal fit. The fleece chin protection provides extra comfort even in harsh conditions.

With two-layer construction, sealed seams and Helly Tech Performance technology, the jacket remains waterproof and breathable. The D-ring for deadman cord and fleece-lined front pockets offer added functionality, while the jacket is PFC-free for an eco-friendly choice.

In 1877, Captain Helly Juell Hansen recognized the need for better protection against the harsh Norwegian elements. He and his wife, Maren Margarethe, began soaking coarse linen with linseed oil. This advanced process resulted in water-resistant clothing for workers at sea, and Helly Hansen was born.

Working from their basement, the innovative and hardworking duo tirelessly created workwear designed for long days at sea. The Norwegian manufacturer quickly became an important player in the clothing industry. Just one year after its founding, Helly Hansen received the first of many awards at the World's Fair in Paris.

The rest is a true Norwegian industrial adventure. In a short time, Helly Hansen increased production, built and acquired factories throughout the country, and expanded its product range. Helly Hansen has produced everything from agricultural and industrial products to cork life jackets, gas masks, and carpets.
