The Pier 4.0 Sail Pants Men's Dark Blue is a well-breathable and water- and windproof pant. The soft material wears very comfortably. The pants have a long zipper on the front that is shielded with a waterproof flap. The seat and knees√´n are extra reinforced to prevent wear and tear. The Pier 4.0 sailing pants are quick-drying and have a convenient pocket on the thigh. The waist is adjustable, as are the suspenders for an optimal fit!

In 1877, Captain Helly Juell Hansen recognized the need for better protection against the harsh Norwegian elements. He and his wife, Maren Margarethe, began soaking coarse linen with linseed oil. This advanced process resulted in water-resistant clothing for workers at sea, and Helly Hansen was born.

Working from their basement, the innovative and hardworking duo tirelessly created workwear designed for long days at sea. The Norwegian manufacturer quickly became an important player in the clothing industry. Just one year after its founding, Helly Hansen received the first of many awards at the World's Fair in Paris.

The rest is a true Norwegian industrial adventure. In a short time, Helly Hansen increased production, built and acquired factories throughout the country, and expanded its product range.
