Stainless steel 316 bollards are robust, corrosion-resistant mooring points for every boat — from a small inflatable to a large motor boat.
| Size | Base Plate | H × W × D |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 80 mm | 80 × 80 × 63 mm |
| Medium | 120 mm | 120 × 95 × 120 mm |
| Large | 150 mm | 150 × 120 × 150 mm |
Combining Multiple Bollards
Professional mooring uses at least two bollards: one at the bow and one at the stern. Larger boats also need spring bollards amidships, which prevent the boat from sliding fore and aft when lying alongside. Correct positioning reduces wear on lines and cleats.
Installation and Sealing
Always fit bollards with a backing plate on the underside of the deck to distribute the load. Use stainless steel bolts and seal all bolt holes with marine-grade polysulphide or polyurethane sealant.
