Boat Cleaning

In Boat Cleaning you find targeted cleaners for every surface: boat shampoo and all-purpose cleaner for polyester hulls, Hibo and Sjippie inflatable cleaner for PVC and Hypalon, Epifanes Teak-O-Bello for teak decks and Sjippie skai cleaner for faux-leather upholstery. Supplemented by telescopic wash brushes and UV protection products.

Boat Repair

Boat Repair holds the materials for DIY repairs. For inflatables complete repair kits with PVC patch material in Hypalon and PVC grade. For polyester hulls polyester filler, epoxy filler and Epifanes Epoxy Filler 1500 for below-waterline repairs. Fibreglass cloth and epoxy resin for structural GRP repairs.

Boat Paint and Maintenance

The complete Epifanes range is in Boat Paint & Maintenance: Mono-urethane and Poly-urethane hull paint, Foul-Away and Werdol Copper-free antifouling, hardwood oil varnish and PP Varnish for woodwork, plus primers, fillers, thinners and application tools.

Outboard Engine Maintenance

In Outboard Engine Maintenance you find everything for regular and preventive servicing: engine oil in 2-stroke and 4-stroke grade (Quicksilver, Liqui Moly Marine), OEM and universal impellers, fuel filters, water separators, spark plugs and coolant protection for winter lay-up. Flushing clamps for rinsing the engine with fresh water after salt water use are here too.

Electrics

Electrics covers the boat’s electrical installation: marine batteries (lead-acid, AGM and lithium), battery chargers and onboard chargers, marine fuses and fuse holders, moisture-resistant cables, marine switches, socket outlets and cable connectors.

Sailboat Parts

What is the difference between Boat Cleaning and Boat Repair?

Boat Cleaning holds preventive products that remove or prevent dirt, salt and UV damage: cleaners, wax, polish and protective sprays. Boat Repair holds curative products for fixing damage: repair kits, fillers, epoxy and fibreglass. Sjippie inflatable cleaner goes in Cleaning, a Hibo repair kit for a damaged PVC tube goes in Repair.

Are steering cables in Boat Accessories or Boat Maintenance?

Steering cables, helm consoles and steering wheels are in Boat Maintenance, sub-category Boat Steering. Loose deck fittings such as cleats and pad eyes are in Boat Accessories under Deck Hardware.

Where do I find marine batteries and chargers?

Marine batteries and chargers are in Boat Maintenance, sub-category Electrics. Navigation lights and other fixed electrical parts are in Boat Accessories, sub-category Interior.

How often should I service my outboard engine?

Annually or after 100 engine hours: replace impeller, change oil (4-stroke), check spark plug, inspect fuel filter, flush engine after saltwater use. At winter lay-up add coolant protection. All parts are in Boat Maintenance under Outboard Engine Maintenance.
