The lightweight and rugged Aegir sailing pants feature built-in reinforcement on the seat and knees to combat wear and tear.

The sailing pants are made of 3-layer Helly Tech¬Æ material, making them waterproof, breathable and windproof. The seams of the pants are fully sealed for optimal protection. The pants have a double storm flap, waterproof 2-way zippers and fleece lined hand warmer pockets for added comfort. In 1877, Captain Helly Juell Hansen recognized the need for better protection against the harsh Norwegian elements. He and his wife, Maren Margarethe, began soaking coarse linen with linseed oil.
